Just got back from a quick trip to Vanuatu. I went as the FSM Chamber of Commerce delegate for a short private sector development workshop funded by the EU. Over two days time we had many presentations from representatives throughout the “Oceania” region – what most people consider the “South” Pacific.
Many solutions and problems were presented and a great deal of networking was done. Now it’s up to us on Kosrae and in the FSM to see if we can adapt some of these great ideas to our situation.
Oh yes, I did have a few hours to roam around, meet people and take pictures with my brand new Olympus E-PL1. Vanuatu is very beautiful with a rich culture, I wish I had more time to explore. Here is a photo of a Port Vila sunset.
